Logo - signet and graphics for the Vega Verde marketing campaign were created with the help of Hanna Adamczyk - senior graphic designer.

The logo is the result of a brainstorming session involving me and Hanna. We collaborated to create a visually compelling representation of the brand's identity, incorporating its values, mission, and unique selling propositions. Once the idea was on paper, I gathered the necessary resources and I was guided by Hanna into creating a final design.

Online campaigns, banners, printing materials, and gadgets, outdoor, and indoor were created by Hanna Adamczyk.

The marketing campaign for VegaVerde, a vegan restaurant franchise, is designed to create excitement and generate interest in the unique dining experience offered by the brand. The campaign features visually appealing banners and posters that are strategically placed in high-traffic areas such as city centers, shopping malls, and transportation hubs.

The banners and posters prominently display the restaurant's logo, which features a vibrant green leaf, along with catchy taglines highlighting the brand's key messaging, such as “We dill with veggies” and “Best vegan meal from local suppliers”.

The branding on different materials is consistent with the restaurant's overall aesthetic and values. For instance, branded materials that are provided to each franchiser (the folder, the brand book, and pens), are showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality and presentation.

All the print-outs feature the restaurant's logo and mouthwatering food photography, enticing potential customers to explore the diverse vegan offerings.

The marketing campaign for VegaVerde aims to create a strong brand presence in the market and differentiate the restaurant franchise from other dining options. The consistent use of the restaurant's logo, taglines, and branding on various materials helps to reinforce the brand's values, messaging, and unique offering as a destination for delicious, wholesome, and sustainable plant-based dining.

In addition to banners, and posters, the marketing campaign includes other materials, such as branded pens, t-shirts, snickers and hats for restaurant staff, branded paper bags, mugs, calendars that showcase the restaurant's values and sustainability practices, and branded signage for events and promotions. These materials help to create a cohesive brand identity and promote brand recognition among both franchisers and customers.

Collaboration with Hanna Adamczyk - senior graphic designer

Learnings and takeaways

As a UX/UI designer, collaborating with Hanna - senior graphic designer provided valuable insights and takeaways. Some key points to consider:

  1. Consistent Branding: The creation of the signet is an important part of the marketing campaign, as it represents the brand identity.
As a UX/UI designer, I learnt the importance of consistent branding and how it impacts the overall user experience. By maintaining consistency in visual elements, such as colors, fonts, and imagery, across different touchpoints of the campaign, including web interfaces, mobile apps, and other design assets, I could create a cohesive and memorable user experience.

  2. Design Versatility: A signet, like a leaf, often needs to be adaptable to different contexts and mediums, such as print, digital, and social media. By working with a graphic designer, I learnt the importance of designing versatile assets that can be scaled, resized, and adapted to different platforms and devices, while still maintaining their visual integrity. This understanding helped me create user interfaces that are responsive and adaptable to different screen sizes, orientations, and devices, ensuring a consistent and optimized user experience across various platforms.

  3. User-Centric Approach: Collaborating with a graphic designer highlighted the importance of a user-centric approach to design. The signet, as well as other design elements of the campaign, should be visually appealing and resonate with the target audience. By understanding the needs, preferences, and behaviors of the target users, I could create UX/UI designs that are user-friendly, visually engaging, and aligned with the brand's messaging and values.

  4. Collaboration and Communication: Working with a graphic designer requires effective collaboration and communication skills. I needed to align my UX/UI design decisions with the overall visual language and branding established by the logo, signet, and other graphic elements. This experience taught me the importance of effective communication and collaboration with other designers to ensure that the design elements work together harmoniously and deliver a unified user experience.

  5. Iterative Design Process: The creation of a marketing campaign, including the signet design, involved an iterative design process with feedback and revisions.  Learning from this iterative process helped us adopt an agile and flexible approach to UX/UI design, where we are open to feedback, willing to iterate, and focused on delivering the best possible user experience.

Embracing an iterative design process and learning from the collaborative journey could elevate my skillset and lead to awe-inspiring user experiences that leave a lasting impression.
