UX/UI Designer Specialist - UX/UI OpenBootCamp (E-Learning Provider)

As a UX/UI Designer Specialist at UX/UI OpenBootCamp, I've had the privilege of nurturing the design talents of passionate and driven students for almost a year. My responsibilities extend far beyond the typical area of a UX/UI designer, using a versatile approach, I've been able to shape the thinking of upcoming designers and share the knowledge and skills they require to succeed in the industry.

Mentorship and Guidance: My primary responsibility is supervising and advising students on their design journey. I have reviewed their work, offering insightful feedback, and providing one-on-one guidance to foster their growth. I supervise them, ensuring that they grasp the fundamental principles of design and refine their abilities to craft engaging and intuitive user experiences.

Project Assessment: I've walked hand-in-hand with students from the beginning until the end of their design projects, assessing their comprehension of design principles and the psychology behind effective design. This process has empowered students to apply their theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, ultimately enhancing their design insight.

Live UX/UI & Figma Webinars: My role extends to hosting live UX/UI & Figma webinars, often with over 100 attendees. During these interactive sessions, I've unlocked the potential of Figma as a design tool, demonstrating its capabilities, and showcasing its significance in UX/UI design. My webinars educate and inspire, and, based on the Q&A at the end, I can say that it creates curiosity and passion in UI design, among participants.

This chapter of my career has been extremely
rewarding professionally and personally. It's been an honor to contribute to the journey of budding designers, helping them evolve into accomplished professionals in the field of UX/UI design. I'm eager to carry these experiences and insights into future opportunities, further enriching my commitment to the design community.

Student's Testimonials:

UX/UI Designer & Content Creator

As a UX/UI designer, I'm passionate about curating aesthetic visuals and sharing insights. @graphicalabs_team Instagram account is where I showcase the intersection of design and accessibility.
My collaboration with Hanna - a senior graphic designer is an ongoing learning experience. We exchange ideas, techniques, and insights that bridge the gap between UX/UI and graphic design. It's a journey of constant growth, creating a deeper understanding of the nuances of design, and enriching our creative skill sets.

Our mission is double: We aim to provide zero-cost-to-consumer information about design and design tools, making the world of design accessible to all. In addition, we share invaluable design insights, stimulating creativity
and promoting continuous learning and growth.

"Jo is a person who is extremely easy and pleasant to work with.  Her enthusiasm and openness to other people, combined with the experience of an educator, are essential features of an effective UX UI designer.  She is full of great ideas, and quickly learns and implements new techniques and solutions.  It's not often you meet someone who is so open-minded, talented, hard-working, and humble at the same time.  Her passion, constantly setting new goals and personal growth are impressive." (Hanna, senior graphic designer)
